It had been one of those days.... The kids had not slept well, I was not eating right or drinking enough water, we were all on edge and I was stressed about a number of different things.
As I went about the day, I could feel a headache forming, dull at first, not migraine strength but enough to be annoying. And it was in the oddest spot, somewhere behind my cheeks, between my ears, up in the middle of my head. I had never had one there before.
So this went on all day until at bedtime, when I was doing my normal essential oil routine. A good friend had recommended putting a drop of Frankincense oil on the crown of the head to help balance the emotions, so I thought, why not. Frankincense is good for stress, negative emotions, down feelings, so I'll give it a try.
Not long after I applied the Frankincense to my head, the headache was gone! I was amazed. Why didn't I do this a long time ago?
Moral of the story: I will go to Frankincense right away next time I get one of those kinds of tension headaches!
